Open T4Taste → Settings → tap Restore Purchases. The app talks to the App Store, fetches your active subscription, and unlocks the matching tier. If nothing happens, make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.

Open T4Taste → Settings → Account → Delete Account. The app re-authenticates you for security, then permanently removes your account, favourites, chat history, and insights. This action cannot be undone.

Location is used only to find restaurants near you and to show your position on the map. Location is never linked to your identity, never sold, and never shared with advertisers. You can deny it, in which case you can still search by typing a city or area.

Sign in to your iCloud account inside the app's Login sheet. Favourites then sync via Apple's CloudKit private database — Apple is the only party that ever sees them. If you skip sign-in, favourites stay on the device only.

Each subscription tier (Trial, Beginner, Food Lover, Professional Guide) has a daily search and Deep Dive quota. The badge in the chat header shows how much is left. Limits reset every 24 hours; upgrading the tier raises the cap.

Open T4Taste → Settings → Language. T4Taste supports English, French, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. The change applies immediately without needing to restart.

Voice input uses your iPhone's built-in speech recognition. Try speaking closer to the microphone, reducing background noise, or switching the dictation language in iOS Settings → General → Keyboard → Dictation. You can always edit the transcribed text before sending.

Restaurant data comes from Google Maps and isn't updated in real time. Always confirm by phone or the restaurant's own website before visiting, especially around holidays. If something looks consistently wrong, let us know — we can flag it upstream.
